Terms of service

Last updated 27 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Nathan Perkins, a sole trader in the United Kingdom who runs NexusDM ("we", "us"), for using the NexusDM app. By creating an account you agree to them. Our privacy notice explains how we handle your personal data.

Your account

You must be 18 or over to create an account. An account is for one person. Keep your password and the email address on your account secure and up to date: password recovery codes are sent to that address. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

The free trial

A new account gets a free 14-day trial with Basic features and 500 MiB of storage, without payment details. Each email address can start one trial. When the trial ends, the account becomes read-only until you choose a plan: you can still view, export and delete everything in it.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are sold by Stripe as merchant of record. When you subscribe, you buy the subscription from Stripe on the terms shown at checkout, and Stripe takes payment, adds any tax and issues invoices. Prices are on the pricing page and are in pounds sterling before tax.

A subscription renews at the end of each monthly or annual period until you cancel it. A plan change that costs more per month starts straight away and is prorated; a change to a lower monthly price or a shorter billing period starts when your current period ends.

If you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for, and the account then becomes read-only, not deleted. Deleting your account cancels a live subscription at once, with no refund for the rest of the period. Nothing in these terms affects any right to cancel or to a refund that you have under consumer law or under Stripe's checkout terms.

Your content

The campaigns, notes and files you put into NexusDM remain yours. You give us permission to store, copy and display them only as needed to run the service for you, and that permission ends when you delete them. You can export a campaign at any time, including when your account is read-only.

Uploads count towards your plan's storage limit (500 MiB on Basic, 2 GiB on Pro). Over the limit, you keep your files but new uploads are refused until you free up space or move to a larger plan.

Only upload content you have the right to use. Keep your own copies of anything important: we take care of your data, but we cannot promise it will never be lost.

Acceptable use

Do not use NexusDM to:

  • break the law, or store or share content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights;
  • try to get into other people's accounts or data, or test, probe or overload the service without our written permission;
  • get around plan limits, or create accounts to obtain more than one free trial;
  • resell or share access to the service.

If you break these terms, we may suspend or close your account. Unless the problem is serious or urgent, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it and to export your data.

The service

NexusDM is built and run by one person. We work to keep it available and secure, but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and there may be interruptions for maintenance. Features change over time; we will not remove a feature you are paying for in a way that makes the service materially worse during a period you have already paid for.

If we ever decide to close NexusDM, we will give account holders at least 30 days' notice, refund any unused part of an annual subscription, and keep export available until it closes.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. This deletes every campaign and file in it and cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.

Our responsibility to you

If you use NexusDM as a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms do not affect, including that the service must be provided with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, or for business losses. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for NexusDM in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. We will tell account holders about a significant change before it applies, and if you do not agree you can cancel and export your data before then.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
